Families Helping Families strengthens and supports individuals with disabilities and their families by providing individualized services, resources, and education that empower them to achieve independence within their communities.

Families Helping Families partners with individuals with disabilities and their families to provide support services, referrals and resource connections, education, training, and outreach that empower people to achieve greater independence, self-advocacy, and inclusion within their communities.

PURPOSE
Families Helping Families helps create thriving communities where individuals with disabilities and their families have equitable access to opportunities, resources, and support to achieve their fullest potential.
OUR FOCUS AREAS
Individualized Services
Peer to Peer Support, IEP (Individualized Education Plan) and ITP (Individualized Transition Plan), support groups, and advocacy that foster independence, self-determination, productivity, and full community inclusion.
Resource Connections
Proved trusted information, and valuable resources and referrals that enhance independence, strengthen self-advocacy, and promote full integration and participation within their communities.
Transition Services
Promote independence to individuals with disabilities that are adults, seniors, and the aging that empowers them to lead self-directed lives, advocate for themselves, and inclusion to full participation in all aspects of life.
Education & Outreach
Training, workshops, and community events that bring awareness, build capacity, and impact changes that emphasize partnership, self-advocacy, and community participation while maintaining the family-centered values that define Families Helping Families.
Family Support
Helping families connect, share, and grow through support groups and family-centered resources.
