ACTIVE FOR AUTISM – WHAT IT’S ALL ABOUT
Active for Autism 5K, Fun Walk & Family Fun Fest promotes awareness, acceptance, and inclusion of those affected by autism. This event provides community education while generating partnerships with families and organizations across the Greater Baton Rouge eight-parish area.
Our next Autism 5K, Fun Walk & Family Fun Fest will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2020 on the grounds of Pennington Biomedical Research Center in Baton Rouge.
Proceeds from this event support Families Helping Families of Greater Baton Rouge’s program–Resource Center for Autism Spectrum Disorder (RCASD). RCASD provides individualized services, information, and support needed to positively enhance the independence, productivity, and inclusion of people with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
