Do you believe every child should have access to a high quality education? We certainly do! No child should be excluded from quality educational opportunities because of a disability. At FHFGBR, we’re working hard to remove the barriers standing between our children and their opportunity to better their lives through education. During this time of transition, social distancing and disruption of disability support services, the need for help is greater than ever before. Raising a child with a disability is challenging and caregivers need the community’s support. For nearly 30 years, FHFGBR has been doing just that, and all free of charge.
225 GIVES is a one-day online giving extravaganza for the Capital Region taking place on Tuesday, December 1, 2020.
In its inaugural year, 225 GIVES is inspiring people to get up and give by bringing together numerous local nonprofits with the hope of collectively raising more than $4 million.
We invite you to join the movement and help us reach our organizational goal of $5,000 on December 1. Here’s how you can help:
Get up and give on December 1! Your gift matters! On December 1, if you donate to FHFGBR on 225GIVES.ORG between 12:00 AM and midnight, your gift could be multiplied by matching donors plus Challenge funds and prizes raised by 225 GIVES.
Not available on December 1? No worries! Make your gift early between November 24 and November 30 at www.225gives.org/fhfgbr.
Spread the word to your friends and loved ones about FHFGBR and 225 GIVES. Don’t forget to tag #225FHFGBR and #225GIVES if your posting online. Encourage your friends and family to get up and give as well.
